Demetris Hodges, Planning Assistant

Demetris joined GMS Planning in March 2025 after transitioning into the financial services industry. He earned his associate degree from Bevill State Community College, where he played baseball for the Bears, and later completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of West Georgia. He holds the FINRA SIE, Series 7, and his Life, Accident, and Sickness insurance license. At GMS Planning, Demetris supports advisors and clients through client onboarding, account opening and maintenance, and ongoing service requests. He assists in preparing reports and financial planning materials, maintains accurate client data across firm systems, and works closely with operations and investment teams to ensure efficient, high-quality client service.

Originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Demetris resides in Carrollton with his wife, Miranda, and their dog, Scout. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, playing pickleball, and spending time with family.
