Jack Cox, Planning Assistant
Jack Cox joined GMS Planning in 2025 after graduating from the University of Georgia in the spring of 2025. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Geography. Jack currently holds the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) license as well as a Life, Accident, and Sickness insurance license, and he is actively studying for the Series 7 General Securities Representative examination. Outside of work, Jack enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Bella, going on walks with his dog, Bert, and spending time with family and friends. He is originally from Carrollton, Georgia, and graduated from Carrollton High School as a member of the Class of 2021.
Professional Responsibilities.
As a Planning Assistant at GMS Planning, Jack plays an integral role in supporting the advisory team and enhancing the overall client experience. He assists with collecting, organizing, and maintaining client financial data, prepares account documentation, and supports client onboarding and service requests. Jack works closely with advisors to develop reports, financial planning materials, and meeting deliverables, while ensuring client information remains accurate and current across firm systems. He also collaborates with the operations and investment teams, responds to routine client inquiries, and supports ongoing account maintenance to help ensure efficient, high-quality service for both clients and advisors.
